Death is not the end of life

Way to Muallianpui🚗
On 23rd june after long suffering, my uncle finally fell asleep. On the next day we proceeded to muallianpui to attend his funeral. Early in the morning at 6:05 am we started to travel to Muallianpui. At 7:50 am we reached Darzo and had a morning meal at my brother in law's house. Shortly afterwards, we continued to proceed to muallianpui.

Something strange yet beautiful!🌻
On the way there were several nghahloh dawr (shops without the keeper) at the road side. This is a unique trait of Mizo society showing honesty and good morality of Mizo people. We bought several produce there and continued to proceed to muallianpui.

A grevious moment🥀
When it was about 10:30 am, we reached near Muallianpui. Before we entered the town, we stopped and dressed up for a funeral and then finally arrived. My uncle's house was a houseful of mourners, moreover, others were sitting outside the house offering their sympathy.

When the clock struck half past 12 pm, photoshoot session was held. Several relatives coming from various towns were taking a photo with my uncle.

At a graveyard⚰
It was midday and the sun was scorching hot. Once the coffin was arranged so as to lay inside  the grave, the mourners set out towards a graveyard. While several mourners followed the coffin being carried, I heard several grieving sounds. My uncle was finally laid to rest in his grave. The pastor ended the funeral with prayer and then the mourners departed.

He was laid peacefully inside a coffin,
waiting for the Lord Jesus Christ
to come at the end of the day.
When the day comes,
the Lord shall wake him up for eternity.
No more pain, no more sufferings,
every tear will be wiped by the Lord.
