BEI LA BEI NAWN RAWH

Sometimes,  reaching out to different places, such as different cultures or impoverished areas, makes me realize that there is so much to be done and how blessed I am. These humbling experiences ignite my passion for helping the needy. However, there's only so much I can do. Maybe, one day, I'll become the person I've always wanted to be.

Advice to overthinkers I found this precious advice on YouTube (Karl..?) The boy says to the horse, "I can't find a way through." The horse asks the boy, "Can you see your next step?" And the boy says "Yeah," and the horse says "then just take that."  This quote hit me.  Even if we can't see a way through there is no need to be worried as long as we can see our next step. All of the time we look at the goal, we look at the future, we look at the end game, we look at how long the journey is and we feel overwhelmed. We don't need to worry about that because that will come. With each step, we will get closer to that. All I need to focus on right now is my next step.

  You may be a laggard among your peers, but once you develop self-discipline, nobody can outwork you, outlast you. There may be somebody who works as hard as you do, you will still have the upper hand if you outlast them. They may work hard for an entire year or two. If you outlast them by working hard for more than 3 or four years, at the end of the day, they can't compete with you because the compounding effort favours you. Discipline is the price of freedom.

Right from the day we were born and till the end of life we are destined to suffer and work vigorously, that is the by-product of sin. We fall short of the glory of God. O how piteous we are! Death lies before us. But by the grace and reckless love of God, unholy sinners, sentenced to die become holy, pure and saved, praise be to God. Now, there is no more condemnation. For Christ had suffered for our sins. In the midst of adversary and chaos, God is our refuge and strength. That is the virtue of Christianity. Without Christ who can ever endure all the pains and sufferings! Have you ever asked yourself about why do several calamities continually happen in today's world. No wonder it is already prophesied in the Bible.
