Grave digging

 21.3.2023

Today, I went to the graveyard situated downhill from our house to dig a grave for Pu Chhawna. Grave digging is one of the activities organized by the YMA, which stems from a selfless attitude. In Mizo culture, we call it "Tlawmngaihna," which can be similar to altruism, where one does good deeds or helps others without expecting anything in return.

This activity highlights the beauty of "Tlawmngaihna," which is unique to the Mizo culture and tradition. I feel grateful that I was able to participate in such an activity.
