Embrace your pain

What make the greats great, what make someone so special? Some of the answers can be endurance and perseverance to embrace pain and uncertainty. Have you ever known someone great who suffers no pain at all? I bet you haven't at least one yet. To corroborate this fact, let me highlight some of the greats in certain fields.

Elon Musk: He is currently the wealthiest man in the world. He owns two companies such as Tesla and SpaceX. Though his achievement is pleasing to hear, his journey towards success is not served on a silver platter. Back in an early stage of his companies, he was on the verge of bankruptcy when the two companies encountered certain problems. However, he made up his mind that no matter how hard things would turned out to be, he chose to try and die rather than giving up. He worked round the clock, there was no rest in his vocabulary, he worked for 100 hours a week. And he himself did say that if you worked hard enough like hell, you would improve the odds of success. This is true indeed, now his name has been made known to the world. 

Ronaldo: This man is going to be one of a special persons in my life, not just because he is a great footballer but because of his work ethic, his mindset. For him, life is no bed of roses, he indeed fought many hurdles in his life, and overcame them eventually. During his childhood life, he suffered a heart disease, he underwent a frightening heart operation. He came from a poor family where his father is an alcoholic, he lost his father at a very young age. He remembered his roots, he disciplined himself not to consume any alcohol related things, and also has no tattoo on his body. In one of his interviews he did say that he was not that extraordinary, rather he was just a normal guy, but he also admitted that he worked hard and he was dedicated, passionate about football. Now, after all these, his great achievements outside a football world as well as inside a pitch have been made known to the world.

What I just want to say is that life is no bed of roses, it is full of unknown puzzles to solve. It is not about how good or talented we are to solve such unknown puzzles because there will always be tough moments, so it is all about how tough we will be when things get difficult. Let me highlight this beautiful quote "It is not about how hard you hit. It is about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward."
